Pruning vs Trimming
Trimming is generally reactive (trimming a branch which is storm-damaged or has grown over the house). Pruning is the pro-active act of cutting certain branches to guide the growth of a tree. Generally, a tree is pruned to foster healthy branches by removing competition, promote a certain shape or to maintain a certain height or thickness of the canopy.
Whether you need pruning or trimming, trust the experts at Clemmons Tree Care to work safely, with the utmost care and respect for your property and landscaping. We cut only small sections at a time, typically lowering heavier pieces to the ground with ropes to prevent damage. Any waste larger than a few leaves will be hauled away unless you’ve requested otherwise.
